We are pleased to have a number of outstanding speakers at the expo who will be sharing their expertise and taking audience questions. Below is a preliminary overview of seminar topics and times which are subject to change.


Kelly Jordon (Bass)

Kelly Jordon is a founding member of Major League Fishing and currently lives on Lake Palestine. He also guided on Lake Fork for many years and is very familiar with many East Texas waters. He will be sharing some of his local knowledge along with his depth of experience as a professional bass angler and guide.

Targeting Big Bass and the Mistakes to Avoid

Big bass become big bass for a reason. They are harder to locate, harder to fool and landing them can be a challenge too. In this seminar, Major League Fishing pro Kelly Jordon, who has a long history of catching large bass, discusses what to do and what not to do to help you catch the big ones.

East Texans are blessed with a number of fantastic lakes in our region. In this seminar, Major League Fishing Pro Kelly Jordon who lives on Lake Palestine and guided on Lake Fork for many years will give you an overview of several local fisheries including Lake Tyler, Palestine, Athens and Lake Fork and discuss how to fish them.


Todd Faircloth (Bass)

Todd Faircloth from Jasper, TX is one of the most successful professional bass anglers in the country with four qualifications to Redcrest, five Elite Series wins, 17 Bassmaster Classic qualifications and nearly $3 million in career winnings. He is currently a part of Major League Fishing and competing in the Bass Pro Tour.

It is no secret that the summers are hot in Texas. When the mercury climbs, bass often seem to disappear. Many anglers give up trying and just wait until the cooler Fall weather arrives. In this seminar, Todd explains how to locate and catch fish in the heart of summer and throughout the Fall/Winter period.


Nick LeBrun (Bass)

As a younger angler, Nick LeBrun from Bossier City, LA started competing on the Pro Circuit in 2019 and quickly achieved tremendous success – winning back-to-back events in 2022 at Lake Guntersville and the James River. He is currently competing in the Major League Fishing - Bass Pro Tour and Tackle Warehouse Invitationals.

The Mechanics of Bass Fishing

Is there more to bass fishing than just casting out and reeling in? Absolutely! Come take a deep dive into the mechanics of bass fishing where Nick explains body positioning, how to hold a rod, setting the hook and so on to help you become a better angler.


Clay Gann (Crappie)

Clay Gann is a local crappie guide and highly successful tournament angler. He has competed in 117 tournaments to-date with 22 first place finishes. Clay is also a three time Texas Angler of the Year and has three top 20 finishes nationally in the Mr. Crappie Classic. He and his partner Todd recently finished 1 st in the Crappie Masters qualifier on Rend Lake, Illinois.

After growing up in a small town in Texas and graduating from Texas A&M, Tom Claycomb III has become a prolific outdoor writer for nearly 25 years and currently publishes more than 300 articles annually in numerous magazines, newspapers and websites. When he isn’t traveling or giving seminars, he enjoys the fishing, hunting and outdoor lifestyle of Boise, ID where he calls home.

Dr. Duck (Hunting)

Born and raised in East Texas, Dennis Loosier (a.k.a. Dr. Duck) spent his childhood chasing deer, squirrel and hogs but later developed a passion for hunting waterfowl throughout Texas. Through increased scouting and the study of migratory birds, he achieved great success and is currently the host of the DR DUCK Youtube waterfowl hunting show.
